ONEDGE celebrates its first 10 years with new branding and new website

ONEDGE was founded by Fabio Cantavenna in 2014, as an experiment in a work model that combines design, technology and creativity. Now, 10 years later, it specializes in complex manufacturing and high-mix-low-volum production, providing its experience and know-how across Italy and Europe.

ONEDGE was founded by Fabio Cantavenna in 2014, as an experiment in a work model that combines design, technology and creativity. Now, 10 years later, it specializes in complex manufacturing and high-mix-low-volum production, providing its experience and know-how across Italy and Europe.

It all started in a small studio in the San Salvario neighborhood of Turin; beginning with the creation of their own projects, they needed someone to produce small series to manufacture the objects internally due to the lack of accessible suppliers in the area with adequate support.

Faced with the impossibility of finding companies willing to produce small series, the need to create an internal solution arose. Thus, a first milling machine was purchased, and an artisanal laboratory was set up. The first customers were the same suppliers, attracted by the possibility of realizing custom projects, and students from the Polytechnic of Turin, in search of innovative solutions for their projects.

The introduction of 3D printing opened up new frontiers, allowing for the creation of increasingly complex prototypes. At the same time, the company expanded its skills, acquiring new machines and technologies for processing various materials. This innovation has allowed them to offer top-level services, addressing an increasingly demanding and professional audience.

Today, ONEDGE is a reference point for companies seeking rapid prototyping and small series production solutions, thanks to a complete offer that ranges from design to the realization of the finished product, guaranteeing quality, flexibility, craftsmanship and innovation.

Fabio Cantavenna, now CEO, explains ONEDGE’s unique value proposition: Why is it different?

“Unlike traditional companies that rely on obsolete machinery and rigid long-term planning, we adopt a modern and agile approach. We leverage advanced technologies and digital workflows to optimize processes and offer innovative solutions efficiently. Our young and high-performing machine park, combined with our 4.0 mindset, allows us to adapt quickly to changing needs and deliver projects in significantly shorter times. This flexibility and responsiveness are the distinctive factors that set us apart from our competitors.”

What do you enjoy more about what you do at ONEDGE?

“The part I love most about my job is its diversity. Every project is a new challenge, a puzzle to solve with creativity and expertise. There is never a routine, but always the opportunity to innovate and find original solutions. It’s like a modern craft, where attention to detail and passion for the product make the difference.”

Is there a project that you are particularly proud of?

“Among the projects I have worked on, the one that has given me the most satisfaction was certainly the one related to the highest quality products destined for the international market. Seeing a world champion use a product that I helped create was an indescribable emotion. It is confirmation that our work goes beyond simple production but has a real impact on people’s lives.”

Rebranding and new website

After 10 years of growth, challenges, and many experiences, ONEDGE is committed to continuing to expand. To celebrate this milestone, a rebranding has been carried out, adapting the logo to new complex figures within a grid…

Furthermore, a new institutional website has been launched, which will allow us a space to showcase our projects and share our expertise, as well as industry news. This communication strategy allows us to strengthen our identity, tell our story, and show the behind-the-scenes of a laboratory full of creativity and innovation.
